**Dallas Rapper Yella Beezy Claims Financial Hardship, Asks Court to Ease Bond in MO3 Murder Case**
**DALLAS, TX** – Dallas rapper Yella Beezy, whose legal name is Markies Conway, is asking a Dallas County judge to modify his bond conditions, citing significant financial strain caused by his court-ordered home confinement. Conway, who is facing capital murder charges in the 2020 shooting death of fellow rapper MO3, filed a motion on Monday, August 4, 2025, requesting work release.
Attorneys Toby Shook and John F. Gussio III filed the motion on Conway’s behalf, arguing that the strict terms of his release are preventing him from earning a living. According to the court filing, “Defendant has missed multiple opportunities for employment in his field because of the home confinement restriction which has put a significant strain on his current financial obligations.”
Conway has been on home confinement with an ankle monitor since March 21, 2025, following his indictment on the capital murder charge. He is accused of involvement in the fatal shooting of MO3 on a Dallas freeway in 2020. Another man, Kewon Dontrell White, has also been charged in the case and is identified as the alleged hitman.
If convicted of capital murder, Conway could face a sentence of life in prison without the possibility of parole or the death penalty.
The request to ease his bond conditions will be considered by the court. The next scheduled court date in the case is an Announcement Hearing set for August 25, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. before Judge Chika Anyiam.
