**Douglas County Traffic Stop for Missing Plate Leads to Two Arrests on Warrants**
**DOUGLAS COUNTY, Colo.** – A routine traffic stop conducted in Douglas County for a missing license plate resulted in the arrest of two individuals with active warrants, according to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies initiated the stop after observing a vehicle operating without a license plate. During the interaction, law enforcement discovered that the unnamed male driver had a felony warrant for his arrest out of Denver. A check of his driving status also revealed that his license was revoked.
The female passenger in the vehicle was also found to have an active misdemeanor warrant.
A subsequent search of the vehicle uncovered narcotics, associated paraphernalia, and a stolen financial device. Both the driver and the passenger were taken into custody following the discoveries.
