**Manhunt Underway for Suspect in Violent Allen Parkway Assaults; Pregnant Woman Loses Baby**

**HOUSTON, TX** – The Houston Police Department is urgently seeking the public’s help in identifying and locating a man wanted in connection with a series of violent assaults and robberies, including a brutal attack on July 31 that caused a pregnant woman to suffer a miscarriage. Authorities have announced a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the suspect’s arrest.

The string of attacks occurred in the 1900 block of Allen Parkway, a popular area for recreation. According to police reports, the suspect has been targeting women on local parks and trails. In the most tragic of these incidents, the suspect kicked a pregnant woman in the stomach during a robbery, an assault that directly resulted in the loss of her unborn child.

The attacks have sent a wave of fear and concern through the community, with residents expressing their shock that such violence could occur in a well-frequented public space.

“I fear for myself, I feel for my friends, for my family, for other women in our community who are just outside trying to get their fitness on and we can’t even come outside and feel safe,” said local resident Jazmine Baires.

Another resident, Morgan Howell, echoed the sentiment, expressing dismay over the violation of a beloved community area. “It’s really unnerving obviously like this is a place where a lot of people come and I know it’s a nice place to relax so I just, it doesn’t make me feel happy that this is place that I like to frequent,” Howell stated.

Authorities have released a detailed description of the wanted man. He is described as a heavy-set male in his mid-30s with brown hair. At the time of the attacks, he was reportedly wearing a red helmet, black and white shoes, and was riding a navy blue or dark green bicycle.

The Houston Police Department is urging anyone with information about the suspect’s identity or whereabouts to come forward. The investigation is ongoing, and officials are counting on tips from the public to bring the perpetrator to justice.
