Philadelphia police are searching for 23-year-old Kada Scott, who vanished on October 4 after leaving her job at The Terrace at Chestnut Hill, a senior living facility in Northwest Philadelphia. Her vehicle was later discovered parked at her workplace, but there has been no communication from her since that day—no phone calls, messages, or activity on social media.

Scott’s disappearance has raised alarm among both law enforcement and her family, particularly given the sudden nature of her vanishing and the lack of any digital footprint afterward. Authorities confirmed that there is currently no surveillance footage capturing her departure, and no witnesses have come forward to provide information about her last known movements.

Philadelphia Police Captain John Craig expressed deep concern over the case, emphasizing the troubling silence from Scott. “This is not typical behavior,” he noted, urging anyone with information to come forward and assist investigators in piecing together what happened.

Family members are grappling with the uncertainty. Her father, Kevin Scott, said the family is struggling to make sense of the situation. Her mother, Kim Matthews, voiced her belief that Kada would not have left of her own accord, reinforcing the family’s conviction that something is wrong.

Adding to the complexity of the investigation is a possible report of harassment, which authorities have not yet confirmed but are actively examining as part of their inquiry. The nature and source of this potential harassment have not been disclosed.

Scott is described as 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing approximately 120 pounds. She was last seen at her place of employment, and there have been no confirmed sightings since.

As the search continues, police are asking anyone with information—no matter how minor it may seem—to contact them. “We need the public’s help,” said Captain Craig. “Even the smallest detail could be crucial.”

At this time, Kada Scott remains missing, and investigators are working to determine the circumstances surrounding her disappearance.
