**Headline: 21-Year-Old Man Dies in Single-Vehicle Crash on Dublin Boulevard**

**COLORADO SPRINGS, CO** – A 21-year-old man was killed Sunday night after his vehicle went off the road and struck a tree in eastern Colorado Springs, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD).

The incident occurred around 8:45 p.m. on October 26 at the intersection of Dublin Boulevard and Cloud Dancer Drive, just west of North Powers Boulevard.

According to a preliminary investigation by the CSPD, the vehicle was traveling on Dublin Boulevard when the driver lost control. The car then sideswiped another vehicle before leaving the roadway and colliding with a tree.

The El Paso County Coroner’s Office has identified the deceased driver as Richard Bayne Jr.

This marks the 48th traffic fatality in Colorado Springs in 2025. At this same time last year, the city had recorded 50 traffic-related deaths. The investigation into the crash remains ongoing.
