Data & Performance Analyst

📌 Location: District 7, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

The Role

We are seeking our first Data & Performance Analyst to establish and lead our analytical efforts. Our team excels at building and automating processes, but we currently lack a dedicated focus on analyzing the outcomes of our work. That’s where you come in.

Your mission will be to build our data analysis framework from the ground up. You will be responsible for tracking our performance, drawing meaningful conclusions from the data, and providing the insights we need to make better strategic decisions. You will work in close collaboration with our in-office Technical Lead, taking ownership of the analytical workload to help our entire operation become more data-driven.

About Us

We are a digital media company with an international team based in the UK and Vietnam. Our business is focused on two primary areas: US sports and US local news. We take a modern approach, using AI and sophisticated automation to publish timely content to our websites, Facebook pages, and email newsletters. While our systems are effective, we know we can be much smarter about how we measure and act on our results.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and Maintain Centralized Dashboards: Consolidate performance data from Facebook, our email platforms, and internal tools into a clear, centralized reporting system. This will serve as the company’s single source of truth for all key metrics.

Monitor and Report on Performance: Track the detailed metrics of our content on a daily and weekly basis. You will deliver reports that go beyond just data, highlighting key trends, successes, and areas for improvement.

Analyze Content and A/B Tests: Measure the effectiveness of our various content strategies. When we test new headlines, image formats, or post types, you will be responsible for analyzing the results and providing clear recommendations on what works best.

Identify Trends and Diagnose Issues: Proactively monitor our data to spot important trends or anomalies. You will be the first to identify a downturn in email performance or a surge in engagement from a new post format, and you will investigate the cause.

Provide Strategic Insights: Use data to help us answer bigger strategic questions about our business. This includes analyzing content fatigue, the impact of different post types on each other, and the most effective ways to grow our audience.
