Data & Performance Analyst

📌 Location: District 7, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
Our Company
IITOB is an international digital media company operating a US-focused network of social media pages. Our leadership is based in the UK, with core operations run from our office in District 7, Ho Chi Minh City. We combine automation, AI tools, and hands-on content production to publish at scale across multiple content verticals.
The Role
We’re looking for a Content Research & Testing Specialist to help us understand what’s working on Facebook right now, and what isn’t.
This person will monitor content performance across competitor and comparable Facebook pages, identify factors that may be driving or suppressing reach, and design structured tests to check those ideas across our page network. They’ll make sure tests are set up correctly by QAing outgoing posts, and follow up on results to determine what should be kept, adjusted, or dropped.
The role sits at the intersection of platform research, competitive intelligence, and content testing. You’ll spend your time studying what’s happening across Facebook, building theories about why certain content performs well, designing tests we can run at scale, and making sure those tests are carried out and evaluated properly.
What You’ll Do
- Regularly review competitor and comparable Facebook pages to spot content formats, styles, and strategies that appear to be gaining or losing reach.
- Turn those observations into clear, testable ideas about what’s driving performance, whether that’s format, imagery, copy style, posting timing, engagement patterns, or something else.
- Design structured tests with clear variables, controls, and success criteria that can be run across our page network.
- QA outgoing content to make sure posts match the intended test setup: right format, right pages, right timing, so that results are meaningful.
- Track test outcomes, interpret what happened, and recommend next steps: scale it, tweak it, or stop it.
- Stay up to date with changes to Facebook’s platform, algorithm signals, and content distribution trends.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong English, written and spoken. This is essential.
- A sharp eye for detail and real curiosity about why content performs the way it does on Facebook.
- Comfort with structured thinking. You should be able to design a clean test, not just suggest “let’s try something.”
- Familiarity with Facebook as a content platform (not just as an advertiser or casual user).
- Competence with Google Sheets or similar spreadsheet tools.
- Experience using LLMs (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) as work tools.
- Familiarity with automation platforms (Make.com, Zapier, or similar) is a plus but not required.
What Matters More Than Experience
We care less about your CV and more about how you think. The right person for this role has a natural instinct for spotting patterns, asks good questions, and can turn a loose observation into a structured test. You’ll get plenty of training and direct input from leadership. What we need is someone with the right mindset and eye for the work.
Working Arrangements
We’d prefer someone who can work from our office in District 7, Ho Chi Minh City. That said, we’re open to remote arrangements for the right candidate. The role can be full-time or part-time depending on the candidate and how the position develops.
Compensation
Competitive, based on experience and working arrangement. Discussed at interview.
