**Multi-Car Crash on Powers Boulevard Sends Two to Hospital, Shuts Down Northbound Lanes**

**COLORADO SPRINGS, CO** – A multi-car crash on Powers Boulevard near Stetson Hills sent at least two people to the hospital with serious injuries and forced the closure of a major intersection, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department.

The incident involved a truck that struck another car before leaving the roadway and coming to a stop in a nearby parking lot.

Police and emergency crews responded to the scene, and two individuals were transported to a hospital for treatment. Officials described their injuries as serious but not life-threatening.

As a result of the crash and subsequent investigation, authorities shut down all northbound lanes of Powers Boulevard at Barnes Road.

According to a preliminary report from the Colorado Springs police, alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the collision. The specific cause of the crash remains under investigation.
